The United Way of Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights and Derco Office Products Jointly Support the Environment

Derco Office Products will donate one dollar to the United Way of Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights for every printer cartridge that residents and businesses bring in for recycling. Recycling cartridges is important for the environment. Many people don’t realize that it can take up to 450 years for each printer cartridge to decompose in a landfill; right now, over 350 million of them are discarded in landfills each year. Recycling printer cartridges at Derco is a proactive solution to waste and landfill reduction.

Bring the cartridges to Derco, at 620 Springfield Avenue in Berkeley Heights, or to the United Way office, at 1282 Springfield Avenue, 2nd Floor, in New Providence. If you need another drop-off location, please contact us to arrange one.

The United Way of Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights assists 21 area member agencies by funding more than 30 programs that support thousands of local individuals in need.
